Open:

Gently lift the front of the hoop upwards and carefully pull
away from the back of the hoop.

Close:

Align and push the ends of the hoop back together. You
should hear or feel it click into position, ensuring it's locked.

How to tighten and loosen the Latch-Back Hoop Earrings:

Depending
on the style, gently push the post either upwards or downwards slightly to
tighten and the opposite direction to loosen the latch.

We
recommend testing the latch as you make small adjustments to find the
perfect tension.

Open:

Gently push the post upwards from the back to release it from the clasp at the back.

Close:

Align and push the post down into the clasp. You should hear or feel it click into position, ensuring it's locked.

How to tighten and loosen the Hinge-Post Hoop Earrings:

Using small tweezers or even just your fingertips, gently squeeze the clasp together very slightly.

A small minor adjustment is all that’s needed to tighten the clasp. Take care not to over adjust.

Be gentle when opening or closing earrings to avoid damaging the mechanism. Gold and silver are relatively softer metals so they can warp easily if too much pressure is applied.

When adjusting the earrings, please keep in mind that a little goes a long way.
